and what i mean by replace xx with tt is

Hi There Dan or anybody who can help! I am complete novice!! Just purchased a eurovox 6000 and tried to connect it up. The sky cable is a dual cable, split into 2, but on the back of the box there is only one cable socket into the box. Is there anything I can do to connect it up properly, have I done it all wrong?!? Please help! Anita

There is an isolator box which is the white box thats been put on ya wall when you first had VM installed.

On there there is a splitter... from the splitter depending on how many outputs its got you should have 2, 3, or even five

So for example if the splitter only has 2 outputs then u will have one cable going to your broadband or maybe a second STB (set top box )

then you will have the spare feed which will plug into your Eurovox box which you just bought

So far it seems as though you have done it right.

Now you have flashed the box I assume??

if thats the case well most likely you probs voided the warranty depending on who you bought it from.

So that means you cant even send it back

Secondly depending on the area your based in.... you might be on a N3 area so That means that the box is now a Door Mat, meaning you might as well put it in the bin or send it back to the supplier you bought it from if hes willing to accept it.

N3 is an Encryption, and VM have now rolled it out. There is no crack / Hack... however there is a workaround and its posted all over the forum.

Only difference is that it wont work with the Eurovox.

I'm not sure if N3 has reached us yet, I've scoured the forums and didn't look like Liverpool had been hit, but I'm not 100 percent sure, is there any way I can get a list of all the places that have N3. Just one quick question again. Will it make a difference that I did not have virgin media, but sky? is this box compatable with sky? I must sound completely thick, but I really have very little clue about any of this. Thank you so much again for you help. really appreciate it. Anita xx

The box is a cable Tuner only... It will not work with SKY!!!

I know that Liverpool have started to receive there cards in certain area so it wont be long...My suggestion is that you return that box to its supplier ASAP. Once you bought the box you were suppose to flash with another firmware and then you scan for the channels... if memory serves me right once you have scanned for the channels on your network.. you then go to a PPV channel and press ''8989'' And the channels should now Dcrypt.
