Default Samsung OLED vs Panasonic G15

I was originally looking at the Samsung OLED HDTV's, but then got distracted to looking to the Neo DPP Panasonics such as the G15's.

Now getting caught in a quandry - which is best??

I guess I'm going to have to just visit a few showrooms, even though I intensely distrust the media discs they use to show them off.

Anyone actually had the experience of comparing both, not least through friends having the different models?

If not Panasonic G15, then G10 is fine to compare to.

You could always bring your own discs. If they won't let you use it then walk, but I would be surprised if that happened.

I'd spent so long researching and being happy with the Panasonic G15 that in the end decided against months more research on the Samsung.

Hopefully will arrive by the end of this week.

Just incase anyone has a wee look at this topic as a sales advisor I'd always always go for a panasonic plasma b4 any and I mean any samsung tv. The LEDs are not oleds, they are edge lit. Build quility and finish is sub standard (3 returned in 2 or 3 weeks already). The price is stupid compared to the g15. Neo pdp uses the same if not less power than an LCD as does the led (LCD backlight always on regardless).... No complaints from customers on any panasonic I've sold in the past 3 years, only 1 confirmed fault that I'm aware of. Reliable, performance, connectivity, freesat available etc etc.

Panasonic will be launching a range of led but they are only doing it to offer customers what they like, plasma will continue to be their main range as they still feel plasma is the better option. The z1 if you have the readys is an awesome unit, 1 inch thick and has the full pana spec.

Yes I have a pana plasma myself and currently looking at the g10b or will wait for the new range which will be out any time soon.

Not on commision either lol.

Also as a tip if you like the Sami LEDs you'd get a better tv with their 652 LCD, same feed, cables etc and it's a much better balanced tv with IMO better picture quality with all the same features as the 7020 led.... And approx half the price.
