Default Nag 3 & Cable Modem

To cut a long story short, 13 months ago V1rgin ****ed me off so i told em to shove it when they came to move my old Line upstairs. Anyway when the technician came i gave him an OLD modem back and kept the one i was paying for (the silver model 10mbit)

To this day im still receiving 10mbit from this modem without being charged for it.

When Nag 3 rolls out will it effect this modem or will it still work?

Or is Nag 3 just For the Tv.

Thanks

No, Nagra 3 is the television encryption and will have no effect on modems .

was under the impression that n3 was a TV stream Encryption and nothing to do with the Broadband side.

which means your broadband should work even when the N3 switch over does happen.

maybe someone can shed some light on this.

I've had a couple like this, it depends on how long Virgin keep the sub running at their end. The one I had recently was online for 18 months until the original sub was canceled.
