Hi guys

I've got an EX7000 HD, i've just reinstalled my sound system. I've plugged the optical SPDIF from the box into my receiver, and it works fine, but there's a problem.

When I set the SPDIF options on the eurovox to Dolby, the HD channels have great sound, and the receiver gets a Dolby signal that it decodes fine. However, when I switch to a non HD channel, the receiver doesnt get a signal. If i set the eurovox to PCM audio mode, the sound works fine but none of the channels get a dolby signal ... a bit disappointing

I've tried with Sep 23rd and December firmwares.

Hi

I posted on this issue ages ago and its still not been fixed in any of the firmware updates and i doubt it will be either.

You will just have to manually flick between dolby and pcm in the SPDIF options im afraid.

What a pain, thanks for the reply though ... with all the nagra 3 speculation too im probably going to sell it anyway
