Default strange but interesting

i have a box in my possession at the min that originally had a mosc, but for the past year its been running with a fun.

it was brought over to me due to the 3.7 upgrade, and rather than re programing the fun, i thought i'd try and just put the mosc in.

now here is the interesting bit, when i recieved it, only 1-5 were working. but when i put the mosc in, it near enough instantly got all the channels back but it thinks i have put in one of these new cards.

'every time i change channel i get the message ''thanks! we're just checking your details. now just follow the next step in the pack sent with your card. if you need help, please call us..... bla bla bla''

but the annoying thing is that this message comes up EVERYTIME i change channel. but it only does it with this box, and none of the other boxes i have had with 3.7 and mosc's in...

no, not at all. this card was only ever programed and worked with this box fine... it was taken out to use a fun instead, and has never been touched, reprogramed, or erased. it has a blocked image, so i've never even been able to get into it...

but if the bk and ird were wrong, then no channels would come up? would they?? this card can get every channel, but just gets that message i mentioned before pop up until i press ok...

not in this case my friend. i've just this second tried it to double check. its 2 different messages. the wrong card in the wrong box gives u no channels and the message stating ''looks like you've inserted the wrong smartcard for this box''... where as this box is giving me ALL the channels and thanking me for inserting the card i just received... i.e, my new nagra 3 card... i've never seen this message in previous versin, so my guess is its new to 3.7 for when the card changes are taking place, but i cant figure out why i'm getting it...

its a 2100, and as far as i'm aware is from this area.

i've had this box and card 4 years, i brought it long before i knew about any of this. the card has never been changed, as its a locked image and i've never been able to get into it. so i wouldn't have a clue what the cam id is. the interesting thing is we got 4 of these boxes, all at the same time, with the same cards, all from the same person, and in 4 years these cards have NEVER gone down. but out of the 4 boxes/cards, this is the only one that does this...

it does remind me of the cam id issues on the old a software, where if u didn't enter a cam id when making the card, you'd end up with it asking for you to insert your card everytime you change channel, but i dont get why it all of a sudden start doing this now...

If its a mosc probably a B09 it must have the dates set well into the 21st century, its probably something to do with cam id or image , not bad still working after 4 years.
