Unhappy Eurovox 6000 Help, Totally New User

I have just purchased a brand new Eurovox 6000. I previously had a Eurovox Max 2007 which picked up practically every channel. However, on setting up the Eurovox 6000 I can only view the main 5 channels ITV1 etc. I have tried a power scan and an auto scan. The channels are showing but when I try to view them, "scrambled" appears on screen. I am not technically minded so perhaps I am missing an important instruction here. The instruction manual with this is not for the non-technical person anyway. Anyone out there can help me please?

Either

a) You're in an area which has Nagra3, like the above poster said if you're in York/Leeds area or Northern Ireland it won't work

or

b) You haven't flashed your box with the correct firmware. The boxes come shipped with firmware that will only view unencrypted chans. Look on this forum for more info on that
