Eurovox V looking for codes, but my other one is working fine....odd?

Hi there, first post.

My parents Eurovox V started looking for codes yesterday. Looked around at all the usual sources and no new codes were up. My box was working fine, I live around 3 miles away. ANYWAY, i took my box to thier house today, and it works fine, and brought their box home and it still doesn't work.

SO, I guess the problem is with their box, rather than a problem with VM in the area or general codes getting updated.

So far I have just done a factory reset and rescanned the channels, but no change in the situation.

Does anyone have any ideas what to try next?

Reload the latest firmware would be the best point to start.

think the latest f/w for max v was dated 30.11.2008

if you did a factory reset then you will have to enable the emulation press menu and on language settings press ok then type 1968 and enable the last option

My evox v does this from time to time its as though it has lost the codes even thogh there hasnt been a key roll, I just put the codes back in of TCB.cc tool bar then it works again

it seems an old code just needed putting in. thought i'd done this, but must have put it in incorrectly.
