Best to keep the motorised and Sky system totally separate. It can be done, but it won't be without problems as the Sky receiver really expects to permanently be receiving signals from 28E.

No you will need two cables as you will be using different dishes

A motorised dish is better normally. But if you want to feed multiple rooms, the Wavefrontier is better.
You need one cable per receiver. i.e one for the sky box (from sky dish) and one for whatever receiver you will use for a motorised dish.

Yes one dish is possible, depending on which satellites you aim to pick up, it is possible using offset LNBs to have 28E plus other satellites that you want to pick up. A standard (80cm-1m)dish can be used for up to about 20 degrees total spread (maybe more). The Wave Frontier can do about 40 degree total spread I believe.
Yes, it is possible to have the switching in one place. The switching arrangement would depend on how many satellites you want to feed into it, and how many receivers (or tuners) you want to run off it. Whatever, you need 1 cable into the house per receiver/tuner. Yes, the cable for the sky box can be run not going through the switch, or through a switch if port 1 used. To know what switching arrangement options you have, you need to decide how many sats you want, and how many tuners you want to supply, the feeds to the sky box needs to be allowed for too.

Wavefrontier - up to 16 lnb's, with a minimum of one cable coming off each lnb!
