Eurovox 1000 SL Problem

I have duplicated the Post because I gave Thread wrong Title...could mods remove other post please.

Hello Everyone,
I am hoping someone can help.
I have an Euroxox 1000 SL and until last night was working perfect.

I have the message "Please wait Codes being Updated"
on all subscription channels.

So Far......
I have re-installed firmware UFL_EX1000SL.
I have done Factory Reset.
I have completed quick scans and deep scans.
I have left on sky sports 1 for many hours
I have turned off for periods of time
I have ensured Emulation is Enabled
I have pressed Yellow Button on Key Page.
(The deep scan option is available)
I have another Eurovox 1000 SL which works perfect.

(I can receive BBC1, BBC2, ITV, Channel 4)

Any help would be appreciated.

try this
menu/language settings/OK
from the remote enter 1968
enable emmulation and emm capture
enter 1968 again
on the screen that opens press the coloured button that corresponds to the set default key
exit out and put on S** Sp***s 1 and hopefully it should update

SOLVED

So, I discovered a later update,

UFL_EX1000SL_24-02-09_DarX.exe

I updated, did a factory default
and deep scan for channels.

Everything works.

Still unsure why this should have happend...as far as I know the other 1000 sl has the older firmware and works ok ?

as you say the firmware previously on the box should have worked OK but the main thing is your up and running

Hi there guys i need some help please!

Im trying to update my eurovox 1000sl, and yes it does work in my area!, but unfortuantely the software i ahve only recognises COMS 1, 2, ,3 ,4, and m eurovox is atached to COM 8!! lol

Does anyone have any clue how to attach the eurovox to another COM number, i have tried all 4 of my usb ports, and the COM numbers im gettin are 8, 9, 10, and 11!!!

there no point updateing them nag 3 is out those boxs re only good for the bin mate

you need to go into device manager and click on the + sign next to Ports (COM&LPT)
one of the ports will show your usb adaptor and which port it is connected to
you need to change the port to point to either 1,2,3 or 4 port as these are the only ports the UFL looks at

best way i done it to find right port was do the update as u did before but dont connect the box to the pc click download & another box will open & show u all the ports then just tick the port u want to use then close it all off then connect box to pc then do it all again then it will download to your box coss you have picked the port u want to use ok
