I really do have one! If your considering a 1100 I wouldn't bother coz there sh#te, still freezes at least twice a day.............

David why do you want to waste your money? You may not be aware that all cable will soon be under a secure encryption and the box you seem very keen to buy will then be worthless. Surely you can find something better to do with your money, than throw it away. There is the option to used some form of CS, but for that you will need to buy a Linux receiver and do all the necessary work to get that to work.

What ever, you would be best not throwing your money away on any cable box, other than a Linux one, at this time. For what is being asked here, you would be able to buy any good FTA satellite box or a cable Dreambox 500c, but there are guarantees in this game and you might be best to go down the road of paying for either Sly or VM.

Ex1100usb is no good as a door stop, it's too light. You need an ex7000hd for that

What so youll continue to move around the UK once every place gets hit lol. OP, youd be best off getting something like a TM 500 tbh or if you do want cable for now, then get a receiver like mine

Or if you dont really have much knowledge and want an out of the box receiver, maybe get a receiver that can handle a motor for free European viewing. These go for about £50ish

Id personally get the Technomate 500, as youll probably want to do some experimenting
