Finally ended up doing this myself ... lol ...

here is link to the file

It is basically the GrooveRider_HD_Combo_+_0122 image with Favourite Channels set up as close to SKY UK as I could get (lol with a few improvements).

I was restricted to the channels I could put up because we can only set 8 favourite catergories on the box (hoping future firmware upgrades will solve this issue) ... however even with this you have over 90% of the channels currently being streamed by Sky

Hi, what do you mean by c:line?

i have done this update and all channels are finally there and organized too. But still cant view them, the free channels say scrambled/or just show blank screen and others actually say no signal. In keyedit i have UCLAS(?) set to on and autoroll on, and in network option i just have on (advanced settings just left as default).

please help.

The favourites and channels scanned are for the satellite feed m8 ... Astra 2A/2D 28.2e.

c:line is required for cardshare ... these details are needed to be entered in network settings on the box.

If you want to use the box on cable (VM) then you need to scan for your local area.

Have you got access to a cardshare? ...

My bad. dont understand cardshare and so was only looking to use the sky direct feed for the free channels that are missing on virgin media as they dont have all channels sky offer (cbs, asian+religious channels). i gave up and connected my sky+ box up. when i reconnected all boxes/dvd, i connected the feed cable loosely and now the sky channels (free ones of course) work on starview. but because i have now put sky box back up im going to leave it..the CRT tele is to heavy keep moving lol
