Hello! I'm a quite a rookie when it comes to computers. Hopefully someone here canhelp solve my issue. I have a DSL line coming in connected to my D-link 524 wireless router. From my router I have my wire going to my dream box. But for some reason I can not get my dreambox to work. Now when I switch to my other wireless router, Belkin, I don't have any problem what so ever getting my dreambox to work. Am I missing something here? Why am I able to get my dreambox to work through my Belkin and not my D-link?

Is the patch cable a crossover or straight through?? some routers need one or the other while some routers can sense the cable and switch properly, you need to check your router specs to find which cable it needs.
