Default Printer problems?

At times my printer won't work, I'm positive it has something to do with the driver because my USB works fine, there's no visible breaks in the cable, and the hook up is always in.

Does this sound like a driver problem?

what type of printer is it? Gotta get more details; your OS and what's the manufacturer and all that!

Have you got the latest drivers downloaded? I know that can sometimes be an issue - especially if you're running Windows XP and they released an automatic download that you need new software drivers for.

Does anyone have issues with their printer ink running out at incredible speeds? I'm wondering if this is a sign of a bigger problem, because it is happening more and more.

No, but I have a laser printer and to be honest, only rarely use it. My first cartridge lasted about 20 months.
