Default Satellite setup Two Dishes

I have 2 sat dishes; one for Astra with a twin LNB; one on Eutelsat with single LNB. I have a FOXSAT HDR reciever. Can I connect all three sat cables to my reciever so that I can still record two channels from Astra and view channels on either Astra or Eutlesat? I understand I might need to use a disquec (?) switch?. Thanks for any help or advice.

You will need 2 DiseQc switches and change the single LNB for a twin. Pull one feed from each LNB to each switch. Then from the switches to each tuner on the reciever.

No point in running a 2nd feed from Eutelsat w2 into the Humax HDR as it will only use the first tuner anyway in non-Freesat mode.

So just one Diseqc switch needed.

The 2nd feed for the Humax will be the Astra 2 feed on its own.

Oh, and when connecting up the switch, Astra 2 should go to port 1 on the switch, that way the system will work in Freesat mode OK, too.

Also before you can see the option to scan other sats, a non-freesat mode scan on Astra 2 must be performed first
