seems iffy, as a ex installer, why make a job just to hit a card , more then jobs worth and can be traced and the card needs to be in a box to be hit u cant just hit a card,

i cant see the eng being able to pair up a v+ to a funcard

also, the tb has to be on

Yes and no !

The engineer can scan the box and card details into his box which then makes a phone call to VM control who then generate the correct Emm sequence to initialise the box/card.

The engineer does nothing but collect the data. Its a slightly more efficient way than them ringing up VM manually wih the same details (as they used to do). The engineer would never actually have access to the boxkey at any point.

Cant be done unless they know the details for the box, which is very unlikely unless its some sort of cloned box. If its subbed VM box then cloning is rather unlikely as well.
