Default Nagra/Infinity USB Help.

Ok have been trying to read the threads for the last couple of weeks and every time I just get really frustrated and give up. I am not sure if I can do what I am trying here maybe too much is against me

Here is where I am so far.

I have an infinity usb unlimited card reader (so its only usb not RS232)
I have a powersync unloper that is working fine as far as I can tell.

I have been able to connect the powersync to my home pc and run it on an old N*L card and box that I have. Now this is where I start to fall off the conventional map. I'm in Ireland (and even though I don't belong here - I'm stuck now) so I have a funny pace box the DC221KN (yeah thats right you haven't heard of it either)

So powersync did its bit and gave me an IRD, a box key and a response?

Now this is where I have my real problems I think - I am trying to run Nagra edit 4.1. So I am using the infinity USB to attempt to hook up to Nagra Edit.

Now this is where the problem begins for me (in relation to this anyway) I have real trouble opening com port 2. I have tried running in admin mode (Im on Windows 7) as I need to so that I can run infinity USB. Does not seem to make any difference.

Now I know that Com Port 2 is the one as every now and then it reads the card and gives me an ATR and then carries on to tell me that the string is wrong or something and then closes.

What am I doing that stops nagra edit from working correctly. Every now and then it seems to have worked if I have the infinity osftware working.

Any suggestions by anyone besides putting all the bits back in the box and throwing it out the window?

Cheers for idea. I tried it in a Vista machine that I have lying around and I can at least get the card to read for me (maybe its not actually) who knows at the moment.

I get
opening of COM1 was successful
Removing card lock
Closing of COM1 was successful
Bad communications, try again.

I tried changing the COM port and got an error so at least I know that I am on the right track.

Am I supposed to reverse the BK to enter it in the way the unlooper gave me the report. How do I know if the unlooper did its job is just from the fact that it came back with a BK. Or should I convert the BK to HEX.

Going to rerun sidewinder (is that the correct software)

I have way to many questions - why is the sky blue, why the water wet.......??

Overall the Bad comm section makes me really wonder what I'm doing. I did try another N*L card (its my legit working one) and I got the same response.

Ok finally got Nagra Edit working with the card that I have, and got to read it. Yay. Now have discovered there is no dates in the card. There is only
IRD info
Provider Info
Decrypt keys
Provider info
Provider filter
Decrypt keys
Spending limits

Has anyone encountered this before
