Default USB Recording Issue

We have a EUROVOX EX1100 USB and it has a USB port which I have been recording programmes onto as much as it'll fit obviously. I have found though that I cannot record more than one programme at a time on it, if I want to keep something and record on the remainder of the USB stick (8Gb), it will erase what is already on there. Very annoying because what I ultimately wanna do is buy a really big Ext HD so I can record and keep loads of stuff, but no point having 320Gb if I can only record one 2 hour prog at a time.

Also, I tried to record Sky Sports last night and a message came up on screen something like "USB speed too low" and didn't work. Why is this ? Cause I turned over to Motors TV and it recorded that fine. Can I not record Sky sports for some reason?

Any ideas greatly appreciated.

Cheers

Could be your USB stick?

I assume ther is nothing on the flash drive?

Format the flash drive on your pc and try again.

if there is something on the drive back it up.

firstly make sure it is usb 2.0

then make sure you format the usb drive, right click, format (on pc) and put it to FAT32

this will wipe out usb flash drive so make sure you back up whatever is on it

then try again, should work fine?
