Default PLEASE HELP!! (also posted in vehicles)

I've fcuked up big time. I have tried to desolder the 95p08 from the ECU of a vauxhall movano (same as fiat ducato) and damaged it whilst removing it!! I have tried eveywhere but there doest seem to be one in the UK that list one. Foreign suppliers will only supply 500 minimum! The best price I have got for a secondhand ECU sor far is £250, I only quoted £100ish to do the job! HELLPP

One of the legs has come off! I had never come across a device that is glued to the board prior to soldering, so I desoldered the legs one at a time and lifted them clear of the board (or so I thought!) then levered it off the board, leaving one leg behind! I tried scraping the edge away and soldering a piece if wire to the bit where the leg used to be but it still wouldnt read on my SEEprog. I also have a feeling I may have over heated the device and internally damaged it (if this is possible I dont really know). I know I should have asked for advise first before inventing a solution to the problem, and I would have just bought a new hot air rework station, but hey hind sight is a wonderful thing.

Jakeyfly has posted me a new device and I am currently in communication with a firm in serbia who claim they can sell me the hex I need to program into the device to remove the immobiliser. Trouble is I dont speek a word of serbo-croatian and they dont speek a word of English! It may take some time to get it completely sorted!
