Hi

I am just getting my motorised sat system together and have got a CM 1.2 dish and jaeger 1224 motor. Has any one got the user manual for a 1224 motor they could copy or know where I could get one.

There isn't any need to post the same thing several times. It wont get you help any faster.

I tried googling for a manual but couldn't find one.

If you look at this pic I found it should give you a fair Idea. You need to set the angle of the polar mount to 90 - your latitude. e.g 90 - 54n = 36 degrees, then line up on your due south sat usually 1w in most of the uk. The actuator should be in the mid position on your due south sat.

The adjustment on the top plate is for adjusting the declination on your due south sat.

The bottom nut is for the elevation as Rick says, can be done with an inclinometer if you have one.

Send the motor to the diffenence between your longs at the sat location before aligning.

eg Your lat - 1 degree east

your due south = 1W

send the dish to approx 2 degrees west on the scale.
