hello there did anybody find out why this is happening ok last week sometime on the night my modem restarted as i was trying to get it back on my phone started ringing with all my friends telling me there modems gone down too all in all i had 10 box's 6 ambit 256's 2 webstars an 2 motorolla s now i changed the motoz from bpi disabled to 1.0 and bingo they worked fine webstars also worked fine but ambits wen changed to 1.0 wouldnt lock on at all when bpi is disabled cumes online but restarts imediately tried every thing but no luck with ambits any help please tried different addresses run out of ideas some on rev 39 sum on 38 and one on 32 please please need advice ..

your using the wrong freq for docsis 1.0 in your area

hey guys think i can help.. am in oldham all our modems went off but only cause of bpi setting u hav to enable it now... go to network properties and set it to 192.168.100.10 then go to page and if u using 10mg mac then u want bpi 1.0 for 20 meg its 1.1..
if u leave it disabled itl reboot and any other it wont renew ip address. hope this helps |
