hi, my mums laptop has a 2-3 inch vertical white line down the screen. i have tried anti virus, system restore etc but it doesnt make it go away so i feel it must be a hardware problem.
has anyone got any advice for me to fix this problem.

mate i think ur screen is fooked cos my brother had the same probs and only way to fix it is new screen soz say that

ok mate, do you know where the best (cheapest) place is to get a new screen.

well before u decide to buy a new screen take it to a repair shop 1st cos it might not be that dont just count on wot i said, anyways ur best bet is to look on ebay for cheap things
