ambit with haxo on

hi all , seen some good posts and thought i could be cheeky and ask for some advice if any1 can help!! my modem went off the other day as like most peoples and a mate lent me1 he had but not been on line with so i got a mac and changed the security settings and it is working fine,it has the revision f/w on it,now on my own modem i have copied all the same settings and tried the same mac and it wont get past rangeing,that modem has 1.0rc3 f/w on.any ideas most grateful!! thanks

yes i put it 2 docsis 1.0 like on the working modem thanks but still no joy!!

hey top what firmware is 1.0rc3? An older haxor one? I'v had some issues where rev39 doesnt work but rev38 does and others where rev38 doesnt but as soon as I go to rev 39 its fine, settings all same, weird

also what modems are they?

i am going to try rev39. modems i have are just ranging i have had to change bpi to 1.1

just got past ranging 2 ip complete then just went back2 ranging, the modem is a ambit, software 2.94.1010 haxoware version 1.0rc3,tried a few macs with no joy,but i have 2 working macs which should work,i read else where use a 00:20 mac as the 1s am tryin are 00:14 can you shed any light on this?

been sortin a few (as ya do) and the 1 thing that does happen is sometimes it can take about ten minutes to connect properly, even though it says operational in haxo but u have the limited axcess icon, leave it for a bit, have a spliff and let it do its thing.
been to 5 m8's tonight and sorted them all.
a little patience is needed(also docsis 1.0) in my area (sunderland)

thanks red ill give it a go 2moz and leave it when i take the dog the vet (the missus the doctors) and see what happens when i get back!!its just the other modem come on so quick maybe am been a bit inpatient,i also got 2 with infinite on and could do with some1 in the bootle area of liverpool 2 sort them out for me mate!! thanks for your help mate

you have 2 use the 250 config mate but the guy i got mine off put a password on them and no its not infinite and setvalue,need them reflashing with haxo mate!!!
