Hi All,

I'm trying to setup a 7000 to use as a PVR but I have tried 2 external hard drives now and neither have worked, any suggestions?

I tried a WD passport, no joy. Then a Seagate Freeagent again no joy.

I have formatted the Seagate to FAT32 but nothing, still get "No USB connected"

hi

i've used WD passport to record, have you load the firmare into the WD?

What firmware? Obviously by that question you can see that I didn't

i got a buffalo 500gb drive converted to fat 32 on easeus partition pro and it now works great

make sure its not exfat as drives with more than 32gig are hard to format in fat 32
