Default sb5100 modem bandwidth problem

I've got a problem with an sb5100 now. I've already enabled BPI version 0. I've now tried endless macs from different UBRs too, each time changing NIC MAC etc, but i get either DHCP NO OFFER or BANDWIDTH REQUEST FAILURE. Here is the telnet log:-

thanks fnrmaster mate. I already changed BPI from disabled to version 0.

For information purposes, may i ask what the difference is between bpi version 0 and 1??? I always thought that it means docsis 1.0 and docsis 1.1?

Also how can you tell in the log that i need version 1?

Thanks

sorry sparky, was that comment about my log file? if so where in the log file?

Also according to fnrmaster he says that i need to enable bpi to version 1, yet the log shows that its docsis 1.0:-

Quote:

Class Of Service Settings:

Bits In Bucket = 128000
Last Bucket Update Time = 16350 ms

Packet Delay Time = 0 ms

Global CONCAT has been enabled for all upstream queues.
The CONCAT threshold is set to 2 packets (128 packets max).
Fragmentation is ENABLED in DOCSIS 1.0 mode!
Lastly, what is the difference between bpi version 0 and version 1?

Default Re: sb5100 modem bandwidth problem

you need to use the right mac for the freq and bpi version!

docsis 1.1 mac + bpi + docsis 1.0 freq = bad

docsis 1.0 mac + bpi+ + docsis 1.0 freq = bad

docsis 1.0 mac + bpi + docsis 1.1 freq = bad

docsis 1.0 mac + bpi + docsis 1.0 freq = good.
