hi iam on drembox 500s nabilov08 image 2.09 cam get small number of channels but if box freezes it takes hours to get my channels back is it a image issue help please thank you

It's possibly an image issue. Try flashing a new image and see how you go.

If your DB is connected to your router get yourself a copy of dreamboxedit. It makes restoring channel lists, creating bouquets, etc a doddle.

Not being funny mate, but if you Google it you will soon find it. While yo are at it Google E1 settings file for Dreambox, when you have got DreamboxEdit set up and running on your computer, you can then send the settings file to the box using the DreamboxEdit. When you have sent the file to your 500, you will not have to scan anything again, you will have all the channels and Favourites.

also, if you google satellites.xml generator you can generate and download your own satellites.xml file and up it to the dm before you scan.

this file tells the dm what transponders are on that particular sat so it scans them.
