All channels gone

Hi everyone, i'm new to the forum so please be gentle....

I've been reading through this and other forums and can't find an answer.

I have a eurovox max v and lot of my channels had disappeared so I rescanned - no luck. On advice, I deleted all the channels, did a factory reset and deep scan, after I do this (have tried several times) I get stuck on a blue screen with 'User Installation' at the top and it wont let me do anything.

I've exited this screen and tried to update the channels but there is absolutely nothing there.

I'm in Inverclyde area - any advice would be great.

try changing your symbol rate..

6887 or 6952

It was 6.952 so i've changed it to 6.887.

should I now rescan?

yip make sure you have done a system restore first tho...
im in the Port ..All the boxes right across the west coast have went down..

I have my channels back...just have to sort them into order and try to find STV on my other box.

I'm in Greenock BTW.

Razzmoto, tried this m8, but still went onto the installation screen, tried factory restore, now nothing, no channels and can't 'find' modulator,can anyone help??
