my eurovox is still on and pace seems ok ( not checked as people sleep )

but my v plus has gone all werid

been ok for about year and today had a few glitches watching tv, so i rebooted box and got after that smartcard wrong error, no live tv coming up and all my channels apart from fta are on box?

when i go to settings, out of the blue is says

card no NONE PRESENT?

if i take card out and back in, says v+ subscription being activated?

its a old rom 10 tw card, should i try a new one

ideas?

when it reboots after saying the above, it flashes for a while and then says wrong card, then reboots again and they nothing

update, i took card out, was hot and gave it a lick lol and yep all working

If its got signs of burning/overheating probably best to change for another.
