The Best Standard definition Starview yet now based on the same menu as the HD version it is faster more reliable and has the added bonus of the new future proofing LAN port.

Because it should be able to use cccam, and by all accounts will connect to some type of free server.

box is just a money making scheme from starview, doubt a cs for cable will be available. even if it is, why not get the sv combo unit, 30 bucks more and you get HD and a sat tuner ???

This box is only available with included access to a C/S for Ireland cable N3, you will pay for it even though you cannot use it
I would suspect that there will be C/S ready boxes that do not include the paid access available in due course

More than interesting !
I got my SV6 last week and it does what is says on the box and plenty more ;-) I live in Santry Dublin and I can confirm it works a treat, much better than the last one faster and a nicer layout. Just the streaming to test now but if that works as good as the rest its a bargain even just as a media streamer from my PC. Cheers Starview lads! - be aware you will need a broadband connection nearby unless you have homeplugs it means dragging a cable up the stairs. (sorry I have repeated this from a thread I opened but I just wanted to spread the good news!) |
