i have just scanned the tp no problem here m8 not getting as good signal as AS strength 65% quality 65%
supersports is active on 16e 10758v 27500

HI mate it should be no problem to get that bird, it is beaming in here loud and proud. You might try and find the sat doing a manual scan, turning of usuals and move the dish with the buttons on the remote. If you can get anything on 9E and nothing on 10E there is most defiantly wrong with your set up.

The low bit rate stuff on Sesat 1 is still pretty horrible at times - the power seems to be going up and down

Radio Capri TV has started on 12627V 4521 3/4 and half an hour ago it was a blocky jittery mess with the BER up near 20000. Now its around 600.

Weird and even allowing for the fact its been raining here thats a big difference on my 1m dish.

reported dumped in a safe sun pointing mode undergoing testing:

Eutelsat W2

16E is now a bit of a dumping ground for elderly and wonky satellites:

Eurobird 16A is the former Hotbird 4 launched Feb 1998
Sesat 1 - launched April 2000
Eutelsat W2M - launched Dec 2008, but suffered a power sub system failure during in orbit testing and has been parked near 3 east for the last year or so! W2M was the original craft that was to replace W2.....
Eutelsat W2 - launched Oct 1998, failed 27/1/2010

Lol There is a brand new bird due to be orbited to 16E (W3B) later in the year so these old sats are only a temporary stopgap measure.

Eutel might be able to get W2 restarted as well if they can find out what went "phut" and it hasnt done any terminal damage
