Well, Im looking to purchase an O2 iphone sim and was just wondering is my only bet eBay? I am now a proud owner of the 1005PE netbook

maybe you might see one cheap on auction.

I thought there would be other places where I could buy one from lol. But it seems I cant(damn it!) unless someone else comes up with a place lol. £50 is quite a lot of money for a sim, but at least I dont have to pay for the dongle lol. My netbook has a bit of the old, a bit of the new with its main selling point being that it has a massive battery life

is the internal reader unlocked
i tried a sim on one that was supposed to be unlocked and it would not see the sim
you be better trying any o2 sim before paying out for the iphone sim

Surely the internal dongle can be unlocked? Ill have to wonder over to the asus forums lol

yes i would go check before buying sim plus you need to find out if the other software thats used for normal dongle will work.

its a normal sim card intended for iphones, if you top it up with £10 you get free unlimited internet for whole year.

but people found this sim card works not just in the iphone but in mobile broadband dongles.

providing you know the right settings.

he has built in mobile broadband and can insert a sim card into his laptop so it should work if it accepts 02 sim cards.
