New sections

Despite what one ill-informed member may claim, the card-share section was not my idea, I didn't suggest it nor bring up the subject but I do think it is a good idea to keep all C/S discussion together. C/S discussion is now likely to be spread all over the sat & cable sections rather than in one place.

Please try and keep it legal

A CS section was a really bad idea. It only benefits people who have something to gain by it. It doesn't benefit the forum one little bit

You say most other forums are starting a section - well go and contribute on those then if you want to chat about it..

Password protection on a CS section will only promote an elitist section and that just portrays all the wrong vibes. I know it was only a suggestion but even if it is possible it would never work.

I would suspect that if it is reintroduced it will become a how to get free sky section and even labeling it a "Not how to get free sky" section wouldn't work.
There is more to card share than the above and for this technological reason I would like it to be freely discussed, but for what I feel will happen then maybe it shouldn't.

Consider also that this section will have to be edited by moderators who give their time freely to the site so we can enjoy it without the clutter of useless in information that would inevitably build up without them.

Nividia although it may be true that some forums have loosened the rules a little to allow card sharing chat, just how many will allow any chat what so ever about sky uk and virgin hacks. If you so mention either of these you are likley to receiver a permant ban. If we did allow card sharing chat but totally banned any mention virgin or sly uk chat with the threat of a total ban would you still be interested? My suspicion is that there would be little interest on this forum if european providers only was allowed.

I have already noticed your a cable user. What a suprise The fact you think a CS section is a good idea has nothing to do with the fact that your run of free TV is about to come to an end is it

Mate i moderate on several forums that have a CS section so no i wouldn't do anything to get it stopped

This just isn't the place for it or do you want to just keep pressing it until the forum gets closed down

I know one thing a CS section wouldn't have even been mentioned or even thought about on TW if it wasn't the fact that VM are about to close up the little Nagra hack which has given the cable users free TV for how ever many years

If you haven't noticed CS is illegal no matter how you try and justify it, its theft just as it is stealing cable.

This is the question i want to ask everybody on this forum. Who would actually think of setting up a sat dish if Cable was still easy to steal. I don't need you to tell me as i already know the answer.

If you wan't a CS section have one, mark my words it will be then end of this forum

So, what you're saying, is that you're happy to promote illegal activities on other forums, but you just don't want even basic c/s discussions on TW because...it might spite the cable lads?

Actually, quite a number of people here are moving from cable to satellite FTA - if you spent less time trying to bait people on the forums and read around a little more, you might have noticed that.

i have had a sat dish for nearly 3 years i also pay a full sub to cable the only way cable as benefitted me is having multiroom for the kids rooms when they was younger its not all about free tv to every person

Not really, ronster - the satellite mods keep very busy in the satellite section.
