hello i have a 256 with haxoware rev 39 that i cant seem to get going, it lock's on downstream but wont go past upstream ranging, well upstream will lock and change to not synced for 4-5 sec's every couple of min's, its the same no mater what the bpi settings are, i have tryed it in 3 differant locations but its still the same, im in dublin irl does anyone have any ideas.

Check stealth settings mate. Try this...

Ambit 250:
VENDOR: AMBIT
MODEL: E08C007
SW_REV: 2.94.1010
HW_REV: 1.19
BOOTR: 2.1.6d

or

Ambit 256:
VENDOR: AMBIT
MODEL: E08C013
SW_REV: 2.111.1000 or
SW_REV: 2.111.1001 or
SW_REV: 2.111.1002 (latest I think & preferable)
HW_REV: 1.9
BOOTR: 1.1.2c

Then change NIC/router MAC, try a new HFC MAC if poss. Reboot router/modem after every change as well maybe. Worked for me so far.

ok ive done that but its still the same, what about the static ip should anything be ticked or changed ?

Have you tried without splitters? Whats your sig levels like?
