Default Have these frequency changes finished now?

Hi
Just a quick question, is anybody aware why these frequencies for various channells keep changing? and if so are they likely to continue changing or have we settled down now?

I only ask because in the last week i have had to add and tune to new frequencies 3 times, all for the same few channells ie Living, Bravo, Challenge, boomerang etc

Each time they change i do powerscan and find them on their new frequencies, then reload my original cdf file and add the new frequencies, then within couple days they have gone on to different frequencies. . . . It leaves me wondering if this was some new way to wind us up or whether it was just a temporary thing lol

Oh and btw Im in the Grimsby area

Thanks guys

Who knows why they do it, the only way you are going to find out is to ask the channels themselves ....

Have to say that no such thing has been happening where I live ....

They are constantly re-allocating spectrum space as and when required. They also occasionally need to transfer channels to backup transponders when the main one needs servicing or repair.

As well as that, channels are routinely moved around between transponders as their bandwidth requirements change. Channels that have lots of fast action (Sports etc) tend to require considerably more bandwidth than things like gardening channels (remember Mpeg is a compression system that tries to transmit only the changes between one frame and the next). As transponders have a finite fixed bandwidth high bandwidth channels tend to be mixed in with lower ones in order to minimise potential problems.

id have thought it was fairly obvious why they change channels etc from time to time...
why do banks put their money in safes?

why oh why lol ?

it helps to fek up us hackers and make it harder for us to carry on!

isnt that obvious?

regards dave

I suspect there may be more channels coming, they have cleared 4 transponders here - but who knows
