It seems that the funding of the BBC will be going under the microscope should the Conservatives win the general election.All of the cash coming in through the TV Licence fee seems to be just too appealing and could be used to help fund other projects as well as going towards funding the BBC.One of [...]

It seems like a back door to Internet licensing to me. Once people are comfortable with part of the TV licence fee being used for broadband how long before it becomes a "TV & Internet" licence.

Nothing surer. Look how they split the rates into two.House and water used to be one payment.
Instead of increasing one by X amount. now it's two.
