hi, i've had the humax foxsat pvr hd for 18 months now and its been fine, you only need a sky dish and quad lnb with two cables to the humax and your away.

Yep, the Humax HDR would do the trick, or you could pay Sky about £10 a month and continue using the Sky+ box to watch and record FTA/FTV programmes.

thanks for the info, I take it then that the LNB that I have fitted to the original sky+ dish is not quad lnb?

Sky+ lnbs should be quad with 2 cable outputs being used, leaving 2 other coax outputs free.

No you can't, the Freesat boxes haven't got an rf out in any case.
