I'm a little confused, this is my first time with cable. I have a white box attached to the wall, one port says 'FM' and the otehr port says 'TV', the 'TV' port is where I've connected my eurovox too and the 'FM' port has a silver cap on it to get better signal or something I think. Then there is a white cable (don't know where it's coming from) going all the way upstairs to my bedroom which the internet is connected to. I have one of those splitters but don't know what I need to plug into where if you know what I mean?

I appreciate the help so far. I'll try to explain in the best detail I can what problems I'm having setting this up. I have a white box attached to the wall, one port says 'FM' and the other port says 'TV', the 'TV' port is where I've connected my eurovox too and the 'FM' port has a silver cap on it to get better signal or something I think. Then there is another box attached to the wall in my bedroom which the internet is connected to. There's nothing wrong with that set up is there? Do I need to use a splitter or is it unnecessary as I have two separate boxes in different rooms?

When I follow the instructions and go to 'Fast Install' it asks me to choose the symbol rate which is 6.952 Mbaud, is that the correct rate? I just hit 'OK' as you say in the instructions and it comes up 'Delete all channels' before going onto another screen which scans for channels. Everything seems to be going well but after it finishes in about 15-20 mins it goes onto another screen which says at the top 'User Installation'.

There is a quality percentage red bar at the bottom of the screen skipping from random numbers from 0-32% in quality and repeating itself. I tried hitting 'OK' but nothing happened. I then hit the red button which said 'update channels' but it keeps saying 'no transponder to scan'. Any idea where I'm going wrong?
