also check the ird in side of box, if the ird u have wrote down is write im guessing the bk will be ok too

So shall I write my BK and IRD to the ext and Shani's file to the flash? I've tried this but it keeps saying that I've inserted the wrong card...

The BK and IRD are definitely right mate as this box is just over a year old and I retrieved the info myself using the led simm. I just don't understand what I'm doing wrong...I've tried every flash/ext combo available but with no luck.

I've never had this much hassle programming a fun before!

Are you leaving the card in for a good ten minutes? I had a problem like this before 'Wrong card inserted' but it was ok after 10 mins.

Btw what is this 'Update 3.7' you speak of please?

Yeah mate. I left it in for ages. The 3.7 update is just a firmware update for the STBs I believe to get them ready for the new N3 cards.

sorry about that...i'm a newbie to this forum.

i am having same problem with 3.7 update in Glasgow area..

i have a old pace box and a sammy 2110c that i am trying to update

using AU funcard with toxic 7. keep getting wrong smartcard inserted.

i am definently usin correct ird and bk and shani flash.

anyone have any ideas??

right guys lots of confusing rubbish been wrote in this thread so lets clean things up

shani's fix does work i am using it! Its not an atmega fix it is a funcard fix

First read your ext and save (if deleted or allready messed up go to step 2)
erase you card
load shani's fix into the FLASH section
load you ext you saved earlier into the EXT section (or if deleted or messed up generate a new ext using toxic)
Write to your card
turn the box off at the wall and insert card with the gold chip facing down and so it enter the box before the rest of the card.
turn on and leave 5 mins to update (flicking through the channels speeds up the process)

Hope this helps

Thanks mate. I did all of the above but I just keep getting the message: 'Looks like you've inserted the wrong SmartCard for the box...' I've done a fun so many times - surely it can't be that difficult if shani's fix is working.

put CAM ID IN IN TOXIC ....EX CW IS 12121212 THINK PURE IS 22222222 OR 2323232323
