interesting.... so has ifa worked and is the box starting up ok?

u cud with power on press and hold the up button and power button together,,,release the pwoer button after 5 seconds but continue to hold the up button.

then after another 10 seconds holding the up button release and pull the plug on the box.

this kind of resets the box,,, but doesnt remove anything like the image etc just helps the box to restart properly.

now plug it back in and see how far it gets ,,, if it boots to a working image then thats good,, if it stalls around the lade stage (on lcd) or before that then flash again with ifa as normal and do the usual if it flashes correctly.
if the flash doesnt complete repeat the above.

if this fails over and over then theres probably a hardware fault. sell it for spares on the bay.

if the box fails to boot after the reset and wont flash then bay it.

regards dave

there are two files you send via serial method {u-boot.mot then bit further on you send the image file}
