Hi guys!

I'm going to hand my Samsung i8510 to a local shop to get it unlocked. It's currently on Orange. I was just wondering how much I should expect to pay to get this done? Also, will the phone function fully (on o2) once its unlocked?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated guys!

it should cost around a fiver the phone will have no problem functioning on 02 as they do sell that phone

Thanks very much Martin! I'm sending my dad to get it done tomorrow so I just wanted to make sure he didn't get ripped off.

it will work on all networks once unlocked.
as for charging a fiver expect to pay between 10 and 20 pounds

How did you do it buddy? The guy I took it to says he can't do it. I've never unlocked a phone before so a step-by-step guide would be awesome.

Thanks for the software mate. However, I don't know what to do with it. I've searched Google for tutorials - I did find one on YouTube but its pretty useless. Can you please direct me to what I need to do. The guy at the shop I took it to was unable to unlock it for me.
