hey guys well ive flashed a few modems in my time but never came across this one, well im trying to flash rev39 to a 255 modem here is what im getting

This is meant to be what i get but i dont.

Code:

  Image does not have standard header.  Do you wish to store it? [n] Y  (press enter)Programming 2097152 bytesEnter sector to start store: 0   (type 0 press enter)
  
The modem will now write the new firmware to the flash.

  Store parameters to flash ? [n]   (press enter)

any ideas??? pls help, my mate done one and he accidently done 0=bootloader lol and he bricked it.

just go for image 1 thats what i normally do, if anything goes wrong its easily sorted

done what u said i think its f'ed now, power and enet sometimes recv, any ideas?

change nic card to 192.168.100.10
then login

done that mate, gives me nothing, it goes to limited or no connectivity, its a total pain in the arse.

use putty mate and never take power out till modem flashed

so flash when i use putty?, also i never take power out when flashing it, if you seen my image im still wanting to know where it goes to as its not what it looked like before, will i save it to

0=bootloader (i wudnt think so)
1= Image 1
2= Image 2
3= Specify

?????, ste told me to do Image 1 and the modem wont come up...

your screen shot specifies image 2 as default? have you tried that?
