Default How do i tell what eurovox version i have?

I have had my eurovox max for a couple of years and had it working in the past.
It has been disconected for about a year and i am not sure what type it is.
I am pretty sure it came in a red box?
Would thismean it was eurovox max red?
Appologies for a question that might seem a bit simple, but i'm not very IT litterate.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

if i remember rightly blue boxs were released around may/june 2006, red boxs released later if your max came in a red box then it most certainly was a red box lol.red boxs were released to combat clones so if you can remember when the box was purchased this may help a little also ..

Generally it would mean it's red. Read Ronsters guide and Eurovox faq's in the stickies to make sure.

I have the red one
I have been through the stickies trying to solve my channel problem, but no joy so far.
I have done a power scan, but at the end i got the message server not known?
When scanning all the channels seemed to show,i tried auto scan then power scan, bno joy.
I'm sure there is something very simple that i haven't done, but not sure what it is?

I have turned emu on as per these instructions but:

To update manually, do the following :

Press 'MENU', goto 'LANGUAGE SETTINGS', press '1968' and you should now see two extra options.

emulation should be 'enabled'
emm capture should be 'enabled'

once enabled and you have 'emm capture' highlighted again type 1968 and you will see the key table.

Use the left & right buttons on the remote to cycle through the various encryption types.

When i get to this point the table appears but is blank?
