Hi

I have just received a Max232.

It came with 4 cables -
purple
red
green
blue

However, on the ambit 250 it has 5 pins, am I a cable short?
or can someone tell me how I should connect these cables
i.e. which pin do I leave out when connecting the cables.

Also I believe it is possible to flash this modem with haxorware,
is there a tut kicking about for this.

na, one of the pins isnt used, if you hold the modem with its front facing you and the power socket facing away, the nearest pin isnt needed.

thanks for that - was getting a bit worried.

would you happen to know how I could flash this
to haxorware the tutorial I have is for using the
250hack_dump_telnet.bin file.

This modem has been flashed before but as I
am unable to connect to it either via the web interface
or to the net I feel that a reflash will solve the prob.

It was using Sigma I think previously (it was flashed by
someone else)

exact same way just instead of selecting the 250 hack file select the 1.1r39 file, thats only a partial flash tho, if you want the full thing then use the one from

Xmas gift 2meg dump Hax 1.1r39
