Question Which box shall I buy? (£140 budget)

Hi, I'm interested in buying a Eurovox, but I need advice on which one to get. I have a £140 budget and I'm guessing it's between the EX6000SD and EX5100 -Which is newer/better? or shall I go for something completely different? Also, will a newer Eurovox be released anytime soon? Thanks.

Thats funny as f**k

On the more serious side, have a look at the DM600PVR. It comes as either a sat or cable box.

If cable goes tits up you just swap the tuner and image and away you go again

The original ones are about £190 but you can get a clone for around the £120 mark. Nowt wrong with the clone 600s mate. My Clone worked as well as the original one i had

The 600 also has very good support
Only trouble is that it isn't HD

Thanks for the help.

Do I need a Sky satellite dish in order for a DM600PVR to work? I'm asking because I don't have one. I only have cable installed

Would it be best to buy a Eurovox EX5100 for £96.99 and use it until cable dies out? then I'd more than likely go back to a Sky subscription afterwards.

Yes you do mate, well you do if it is a satellite receiver, not sure if you can get a cable version of it or not.

I really wouldn't bother with the Eurovox as there going to be deader than a dead thing soon anyway. At least with the DM600 your only going to lose £30 or so to replace the tuner

Its less than £96 and it will still be worth something after the demise of cable
