Depends on what you are after. Is it fta channels in one specific language, or you want to go motorised. Are you after FTA only or wish to get a subscription?. Or mabe you want to go the linux route to get that wee bit more, in which case you`d be better of getting a spiderbox from SouthernSattelite as it has the linux capabilities but without linux (always a bonus as linux might be to hard for a newbe), and is virtually plug and play.
Elaborate on your needs Regs

Not sure if its allowed to give all the information here. You gonna have to google spiderbox and free gift .
For the box with free gift look at Trade section of this forum http://www.techwatch.co.uk/forums/southern-satellite/ Very reliable seller of Sat equipment Good luck

It all depends on where you are and what you want to watch
![]() There are some good free to air gems on Badr @26e as to on Nilesat @7w although you need a rather large dish to get Nilesat. A 1m is probably minimum for Badr, although like i said that depends on where you live. If you go motorised the world is your Oyster really. I would probably expect the Viaccess 2.6 encrypted stuff to come open soon since the Encryption has just been blown open so if it does bare fruit there should be some good stuff coming open ![]() Last Via stuff i remember open was the old TPS and Multivision stuff. Sadly they are now resigned to history after being bought out by Canal+ ![]() ![]() Nano
