my brothers modem went off a cpl of weeks ago,so i got it flashed put new mac in and it was up and runnig in my house,i took it 2 his house and it wont get past ranging,tried it back in mine and its working sound,so ive tried loads of macs and still no joy in his his house,ive also tried 4 other modems with the same results? any ideas would be most welcome!! thanx

start by changing the nic mac, then try a new mac, check ur stealth settings if using haxo

the modems ive tried are all on haxo but i dont understand if they work in my house with the macs on and i take them 2 his house about 400 meters away they all dont work so i shouldnt have to change the stealth should i? thanks red!!

i read that you carnt just make it up
i did find a link to a site with macs to change to but the site dont work now lol but i have that program now and installed it

lol thanks guys but im having no luck at all
i tried with different programs and all it says is carnt change mac and something about protocools using it ros something
looks like ill have to pay someone to come and look for me
cus when i change to bpi 1 or 1.1 it all never works

still having no luck has any1 got any other ideas, its a ambit 256 with haxo on!!it also cant get past ranging complete so its stuck on time of day!!

i have 256 as well mate got mine workin today dont tend to go for these macs 00:14 they wont work
