Default Dreambox and Sky viewing card

Hello!
I live in Norway and I have a Dreambox 7020S and Sky from the UK
(subscription through Insat International).
Everything worked fine until a few weeks ago when I got my new
Sky viewing card (white).
I tried to put in into one of my free card slots on my Dreambox, but it
wouldn't work. So I had to find my old Pace Sky box and put my DB aside.

I saw someplace online that I needed a cardreader which had 3,3V instead
of 5V which is in my Dreambox 2070S, so I ordered a OMNIKEY 3021 USB
cardreader. But here's a real problem.
I have only one free USB slot on my Dreambox and that is used for a
memorystick which contains some kind of programs that is needed
for me to be part of a cardshearing (Canal Digital and Viasat) through
a friend of mine.

So what do I do? Can I buy a USB port with several ports and put my
Omnikey cardreader and USB into that?

Then what? Will my Sky viewingcard automaticly work?

I do have to say that I'm a real amateur and far from a technical
person who don't know much about Dreambox. You could say that I'm
just a person who enjoy watching tv and hate these kind of problems

Kind Regards Mr T

From past experience with my 7020 nothing works correctly through a USB hub

Can you not transfer the info onto a compact flash. If its the image that the receiver runs on you should be able to back it up. I would use Flash wizard on the 7020, not sure if this works with the 7025.

Once everything is on the CF you can then use the USB port

As for the Omnikey i've no idea as i've never had to use one as the white card reads directly in the card slot on both my 7002 and TM9100 using either NewCS 1.67 or CCcam 2.1.3.

You can't run an OmiKey in any reciever, only a PC using Linux can run the PCSC drivers needed

Is 2 months long enough

Its all to do with how you set it up mate

I had it running fine under EDG Nemesis and NewCS 1.67 on my TM9100 before CCcam could read it directly in my DM7020

As for the Omnikey i'm sure i read over at Sats that they could be used on the Enigma 2 boxes but not on the Enigma 1 boxes
