when leeds, went n3 in december harogate was hit - i live 45 miles from harrogate york area and teesside was not affected, so fingers crossed you may survive even if its temporary its a small reprieve, as we all no its gonna hit us all very soon

Sorry, you'll have to forgive me, I don't really read anything in the cable section. I was just wondering in order to answer another question

I know there is no problem on the CS side of Satellite Rom180 TV Cabo cards so hopefully it will work also with the cable cards

Nano long time no speak, you only have to look at the latest cable box's to see where this is going. starview 6 with build in lan, the hd box has cccam. They will pay for the card dumping therefor allowing the sharing of the card.

Unfortunately you still have to get the box key and RSA to get it to work, in much the same way as the Polsat and Cabo(ZON) cards.

Not sure how well CS will work on Cable. If the card remembers its had more ECM hits than usual, the second you stick it in the VM receiver, they have got you

Theres also the possibility it may suffer from the same thing that some other cards have. I have only ever seen what i'm about to say on other forums so i have no idea if its true or not as i haven't seen it with my own eyes

Apparently certain cards can now shut down if the card receives more than a nominated amount of ecm requests within a set period of time. This is apparently the reason why CSP came about in the sat world

New cards are rom180 as G77 said , ireland are rom140.
