by the way vm installation guy said he knew someone who was getting 250mb, because thats what they send out..but only sell 50mb for now and provide modems to match. can this be done?

its the new one that vm has sent out recently that uses docsis 3 but u cant hack that lol yet be happy with 10mb or 20mb some ppl dont even have that in here

lol..but i already pay for that. i just wanted to do this for fun. say, when my subscription runs out will i still be able to do this mod? (i mean if they have not put out a countermeasure). im sure they will leave my cables live and the mac wont point to me anyway...

Yes but make sure you have some MAC address handy because when the modem goes off, you normally have to change the MAC. Your cable feed will most likely stay live but I wouldn't take chance as VM do disconnect certain people when they cancel subscriptions.

i have got an inside guy on side who will go and take the terminators of my connection from them little green boxes lol.

didn't know we had a sales section..found a spi programmer but the guy looks like he been dormant for a while.
