well all I can confirm at my neck of the woods is that 00:14 macs seam to get stuck on ranging complete I get the config but no internet access using either DOCSIS1.0 or 1.1

i get operational but then i get directed to vm activation page been trying to get it sorted for days but still no joy

they the only macs i get i never seen any others in 3 days of searching in all different areas

you will just have to carry on trolling through macs until you find one thats not been deactivated m8 there is no easy answer sorry

all macs that come in size like this will work

Size 416 bytes Compliance DOCSIS 1.0

if your getting the vm activation page the modem settings look good, its just a case of finding a workin mac buddy

is dhcp sniffer the best tool to use or is that out dated because all i get with that is 00:14 macs

thats the same sniffer I use, I just go round my m8s house which is a few miles away, leave it running at his for a few hours any macs I find I can use at home.
