i went round a friends who got 20 meg and all i get is 00:14 macs how would i go about using a laptop with dhcp sniffer because i wouldnt have a base mac

you dont need a base mac, just start dhcp sniffer and leave it dont put anything in.

it will sniff out macs automatically, the ones you can try (or swop) have a config similar to this ca69834ncxv9873254k; just make sure you are connected to the modem only not a router.

also you will need to install dotnetfx and vjredist on your laptop for dhcp sniffer to work if you have not already done so.

no point going around in your car sniffing macs. they wont work because your not directly connected to a modem via ethernet

WRONG! I used this method all the time. Got all my MACS via this method. I`m now in same boat as everyone else...00:14 not working, but others do. I`m on a 20mb 00:02 so

how do you get dhcp sniffer to get anything other than 00:14 and how do you get round not putting a valid mac in cause if i leave the box empty and press discover i get a mad warning pop up

dont forget your modem need to be connected directly to your pc directly and not going thru a router to scan.

i am mate even using a friends computer to do it but all im getting back are 00:14 macs dont know how to get past this problem probably brings up 100 macs try them all get nothing could it just be that no good macs in my ubr

take ya windows firewall off too and then try

i do take the firewall off i think if i dont sort it soon it going threw the window every mac you get gives you hope but then all you get is the activation page did a fresh scan last night and got nothing but s**t
